Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Derry insists Neil Warnock's squad are fully focused on the task at hand and not a possible points deduction.
The Rs are facing the threat of losing points if punished by the Football Association over the signing of Argentinian Alejandro Faurlin.
Derry is not worried by the potential threat, insisting that the possible adversity will only strengthen the resolve in the leaders' camp.
"Things like that create togetherness," he told the London Evening Standard.
"We're obviously all aware of the situation but all we can do is influence what happens on the pitch.
"None of the players get involved in what's happening - we've got to continue trying to be a credit to the club."
