David Martin is back at Derby after spending a month on loan at League One outfit Notts County.
The 25-year-old made three appearances for Paul Ince's side during his spell at Meadow Lane.
His time with the Magpies has been cut short after sustaining an abductor strain.
Martin has returned to Derby to be checked out by their medical staff and is expected to be out for the 'next couple of weeks'.
The door has, however, been left open for him to rejoin County once he shakes off the knock.
Martin joined Derby from Millwall a year ago, making an initial loan deal permanent in the summer.
He has struggled to make an impact with the Rams, though, and has been restricted to just two substitute appearances this term.
