Rovers get new deal boost

Doncaster skipper Brian Stock has signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2013. The Wales international was Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll's first signing when he took over in 2006 and he has made 167 appearances for the club since the move from Preston. Stock had been linked with several clubs during the winter transfer window and was the subject of a bid from Championship rivals Swansea. The 29-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season and Stock is delighted to pledge his future to Rovers. "There was interest from other clubs, but in my mind I wanted to stay at Doncaster," Stock told the club's official website. "It is all sorted now and I can concentrate on my football."
