Cardiff have confirmed defender Chris Riggott has left the club after cancelling his contract by mutual consent.
The 30-year-old defender joined the Welsh outfit earlier in the season, but has now had his contract terminated in order to explore new opportunities.
A statement on the club's official statement said: "Chris has left the club following the best endeavour of the player and coaching staff to see his return to action following injury this season."
Riggott made just two first-team appearances for Cardiff during his time at the club.
