Julian Speroni is happy to have ended doubts about his future by signing a new long-term contract at Crystal Palace.
The Argentine goalkeeper's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but he signed a deal until 2014 before the weekend.
He had been linked with a move to the Premier League, but the 31-year-old has followed in the footsteps of team-mates Darren Ambrose and Paddy McCarthy by signing an extension.
"This is good news all round for the club, especially with Darren and Paddy also signing new contracts," said Speroni.
George Burley is also pleased that Speroni has pledged his future to the club as the Palace boss looks to guide his team away from the wrong end of the Championship table.
Burley said: "It's a long-term project and we are building for the future."
