English clubs keeping tabs on Inverness striker

Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are tracking Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Eric Odhiambo. Odhiambo, who joined Inverness in January 2009, has established himself as a key member of Terry Butcher's side since his arrival in the Highlands. The 21-year-old played an instrumental role in Inverness' successful promotion to the SPL last season and has chipped in with four goals this term. The former Leicester star has been catching the eye with some impressive performances, including scoring the equaliser in the shock 1-1 draw with Rangers at Ibrox last month. Odhiambo is out of contract at the end of the season and the news has alerted a number of clubs south of the border. The striker's agent, Clive Hart, has confirmed several Championship and League One sides are monitoring Odhiambo and that the player is weighing up his options. "I am aware there are some Championship sides and some big League One clubs tracking Eric," Hart told skysports.com. "Eric is out of contract at the end of the season and he is keeping all his options open. "He is happy at Inverness, but he would consider a move back down to England."
