Swansea City defender Neil Taylor is looking forward to the prospect of playing in his first Welsh derby against Cardiff City this weekend.
The Wales international joined the Swans from Wrexham in the summer and has taken advantage of injuries to cement his place in the team of late.
He is expected to start at left-back for Sunday's trip to Cardiff and the 21-year-old is relishing the clash with the Swans' local rivals.
"For me it'll be my first taste of a derby down here so it'll be good," he told the club's official website.
"There's always an excitement for the crowd but for players you just try and treat it like another game, but we all know that this game is a bit extra special."
Taylor is also confident another member of the squad can fill in for the influential Darren Pratley after he picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
"That is a downside, especially for him and the boys," he added. "But we're going to need the whole squad this season if we want to do anything at the top. So someone is going to step in this time around and get their chance."
