Keeper available on a free transfer

Skysports.com understands former Bristol City goalkeeper Adriano Basso is hoping to fix himself up with a new club. Basso is available on a free transfer after leaving Ashton Gate last March following five successful years at Bristol City. During his time at City, Basso established himself as one of the top goalkeepers outside of the Premier League. A number of clubs have expressed an interest in Basso since his departure from Ashton Gate and now the Brazilian is hoping to find himself a new club in the UK. Basso's agent, John Halliwell, has confirmed the shot-stopper is prepared to go and train with any interested club in a bid to secure a move. "Adriano is keen to find himself a new club as soon as possible and we are open to all options," Halliwell told skysports.com. "Adriano is a free agent and he is happy to go train with a club to prove he deserves a deal somewhere. "He has been keeping fit with a personal trainer and he is raring to go again and get back playing football."
