Doncaster have received a boost with the news defender James O'Connor has signed a new contract.
The 25-year-old joined from Bournemouth in 2006 and has now agreed a new three-year contract at the Keepmoat Stadium, committing himself to the South Yorkshire club until 2013.
The Rovers right-back is their reigning player of the year and has racked up 183 appearances for the club.
The former Aston Villa trainee failed to make the first-team breakthrough at Villa Park before current Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll signed him for Bournemouth in 2005, initially on loan.
O'Connor is the second Donny player in as many days to sign a new deal after Martin Woods extended his contract on Thursday.
