Midfielder Neil Danns is ready to commit his future to Crystal Palace beyond the end of this season.
The 27-year-old is keen to follow defender Paddy McCarthy and midfielder Darren Ambrose by signing a contract extension at the club.
The Eagles star is currently in his final year of his contract but is aiming to extend his time with the Championship outfit.
"There has been a contract offer and we're just negotiating at the moment," he told the South London Press.
"I still want to be at Palace and I want to sign. It is about them wanting to keep me.
"This has been a really good move. I'm happy here, my family are happy here and it is in the club's hands. We'll have to see what happens."
The former Colchester and Birmingham midfielder is now an established figure at Selhurst Park, scoring 10 goals in 67 appearances since joining the club two years ago.
