Tranmere have signed Leeds United's promising defender Liam Darville on a month's emergency loan.
The 19-year-old academy graduate is yet to make his first-team breakthrough at Elland Road.
The Harrogate-born right-back has been a regular in Leeds' reserve team over the past two seasons.
The youngster impressed in a 2-0 friendly defeat to Liverpool on Tuesday, form that persuaded Les Parry to make his move.
"I'm really pleased to be able to bring Liam in on loan," he told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, Leeds' 21-year-old Scotland Under-21 international keeper Alan Martin has been loaned to non-league Barrow for a second time until January.
