Irishman on brink of finalising Ipswich move
Ipswich are close to completing the signing of left-back Mark Kennedy from Cardiff on a two-year deal.
The 34-year-old, a former Manchester City, Liverpool and Crystal Palace player, reportedly arrived in Suffolk on Sunday.
He is set to undergo a medical at Portman Road before finalising the £75,000 deal, which is expected to be wrapped up over the next couple of days.
Ipswich are keeping quiet on the signing, but Bluebirds boss Dave Jones has confirmed the deal.
"Mark was offered a two-year contract at Ipswich and they came in with an offer," Jones told the Green Un's website.
"We think it's good business for us considering he's 35 (sic) and with only a year on his contract.
"It's also a sensible move for him, so it makes sense bearing in mind those two factors."
