Millwall have denied rumours that an approach has been made to sign Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson.

Gills striker has been considered in the past by Jackett

Millwall have denied rumours that an approach has been made to sign in-demand Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson. Reports have linked Millwall with a £500,000 bid for Jackson following the club's promotion to the Championship, with Norwich City also understood to be interested. However, Lions chief executive Andy Ambler admits that, while the player is among those manager Kenny Jackett had previously considered, no contact has been made. "There have been rumours about Simeon Jackson, but we aren't anything to do with that," Ambler told the Southwark News. "There has been no official contact from us whatsoever. "We've looked at him and we may have had a scout ask for a valuation at some point, but that isn't the same as us making an approach."
