Scunthorpe United striker Jonathan Forte has resolved his future by signing a new one-year contract.
Forte joined the Iron three years ago from Sheffield United, but has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot in Nigel Adkins' side.
He made 28 appearances in the Championship last season, but 22 of those were from the bench, and Forte is now eager to be more involved at Glanford Park.
"I'm very happy to sign the new contract and resolve my future," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.
"I just want to get back playing football now. It wasn't a hard decision to make.
"I enjoy playing here and I hope I can get more playing time this year."
