Huddersfield manager Lee Clark has confirmed he wants to bring Preston defender Neal Trotman back to the club on a permanent basis.
Trotman, 23, made 23 appearances for the Terriers last season after arriving on loan from Deepdale in January.
Clark told the Huddersfield Examiner: "Neal did well in his time here, playing a key role in our improved away form in the second half of the season and we're looking at his situation."
The Town boss is also hoping to keep Krystian Pearce, 20, at the Galpharm Stadium.
The former Birmingham centre-half joined the Terriers on a short-term deal in January.
