Skysports.com understands Swansea City have joined the hunt for Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns.
Numerous clubs are reported to be tracking the talented 27-year-old, who has spent the last three years at Selhurst Park.
During that time he has been able to strengthen his standing as a classy Championship operator.
Danns has given no intention that he is looking to move on, but Palace's financial troubles are well documented and they know they must sell this summer.
Swansea are hoping to take advantage of the Eagles' monetary problems by launching a raid for one of their star performers.
Paulo Sousa feels Danns would be a welcome addition to his midfield unit and is keen to beat a number of his second tier rivals to the player's signature.
Speculation also continues to suggest that the Swans could lose Darren Pratley this summer, so they will be keen to land a suitable replacement.
