Ben Smith is waiting to learn whether he has a future at Doncaster after making his only league start of the season at Swansea on the last day.
The goalkeeper had made two substitute appearances and had a spell on loan with Morecambe earlier this campaign before making his maiden first XI outing in the goalless draw at Swansea.
Smith is one of several players who are out of contract in the summer and the 23-year-old, understudy to Rovers No.1 Neil Sullivan, who was rested, is waiting to discover his future.
He said of a decision from boss Sean O'Driscoll: "Nothing has been said yet.
"I was going to speak to the manager this week and see where my future is, whether it lies here at Doncaster or whether I need to go and get some games somewhere else.
"I've had a fantastic couple of years at Doncaster despite not being in the starting XI.
"If I'm going, I would like to thank everybody that has kept me going over the past couple of years and being here has been the highlight of my career."
