Scunthorpe United have extended the loan stay of Brighton defender Jim McNulty until the end of the Iron's season.
The 25-year-old full-back was set to return to the South Coast after Tuesday's home clash with Reading, however an agreement to keep him at the club until 3rd May has been agreed.
McNulty is currently sidelined with an ankle ligament injury but Iron manager Nigel Adkins expects him to return before the end of the season.
Since arriving at Glanford Park in March, the 25-year-old has made just two appearances for the club.
A victory for the Scunthorpe against Reading will guarantee their Championship status for another year.
