Baggies defender hoping for quality arrivals over the summer

Jonas Olsson is pleased to hear that West Brom will be in the market for top talent this summer. The Baggies have already secured an immediate return to the Premier League and can now focus on strengthening ahead of next term. That means a rebuilding project is likely to be implemented at the Hawthorns, with players of top flight calibre looking to be brought on board. Olsson insists fresh faces will be welcomed with open arms and claims paying big money in order to bring quality on board will not be an issue within the dressing room. "I would definitely like to see that kind of player coming in," Olsson told the club's official website.

Irrelevant

"It's cynical but simple - if you pay greater salaries you get better players. Good players are always welcome. That sounds like a good idea. "I don't think it would be a problem. Any work you're in you get paid what you're worth, whether it's a footballer or any other job. It's normal for me, you can't be equal in salaries. "If we get a player who can score 20 goals in a season or we get a great player who can help us stay in the league, then pay him. For me the issue isn't what the person next to me earns, whether it's less or more. It's irrelevant. "I want the best players in the team and I'm sure everyone would welcome that. I can only speak for myself but I can't see why it would be an issue."
