Pim Balkestein is open to the idea of turning his loan spell at Brentford from Ipswich into a permanent arrangement.
The Dutch defender moved to Griffin Park on Thursday after being deemed surplus to requirements at Portman Road.
A deal is in place to turn the loan into a permanent transfer at the season's conclusion, should all parties concur.
Balkestein impressed in a similar loan stint at Brentford earlier in his career and is open to the idea of staying on at the League One outfit.
"We will see what happens," he told the club's official website.
"Brentford is a big consideration, I like it here.
"I'm playing well, for a long time I didn't play at Ipswich, the best thing is to play first team football.
"I know Brentford, it went well here last time, I know the boys and it was good to come back."
