Barnsley have agreed a deal with West Brom to keep Filipe Teixeira on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Portuguese midfielder has impressed since joining the Tykes on an initial month-long deal at the start of February.
He has so far made six appearances for the club and manager Mark Robins is thrilled to have prolonged his stay at Oakwell.
"Filipe has bee outstanding for us during the games he has played and we are absolutely delighted to have extended his loan spell here," Robins told Barnsley's official website.
"He is an exciting player and one the supporters have really taken to so hopefully we will continue to see just how good a footballer he is in the coming weeks."
