Danny Wilson has cooled suggestions he is looking to bring Cardiff City full-back Miguel Comminges back to Swindon Town.
Comminges impressed during a solitary season with Swindon before leaving for Cardiff in the summer of 2008.
However, he has made just two appearances for the Championship club this season and has not featured for Dave Jones' side since August.
He has been linked with a return to the County Ground, but Robins boss Wilson says he is not planning an imminent move for the 27-year-old.
"He's a name which has been thrown around, but plenty of people have thrown loads of names at me," Wilson told the Swindon Advertiser.
"Miguel was one of them. I know he's not been playing in their team which makes him a little bit easier to get hold of, but we've got other targets first."
Wilson remains keen to improve his promotion-chasing squad after bringing in Portsmouth winger Matt Ritchie earlier in the week.
He added: "We're putting a bit of a jigsaw together here. It's not just throwing things together which don't fit.
"We are trying to get players who will fit into the way and the style we want to play. It would be pointless bringing someone in who wouldn't do that.
"He (Ritchie) won't be the last either. We will hopefully get more next week."
