Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that Marek Cech and Ishmael Miller will be out for the next two or three weeks.

Cech and Miller out for around a fortnight

West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that Marek Cech and Ishmael Miller will be out for the next two or three weeks. Slovakia international Cech suffered a hamstring complaint in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over Blackpool and is facing around a fortnight on the sidelines. Striker Miller is also set to miss key games due to an ankle problem, although Di Matteo has played down the extent of both injuries. "Marek will be out for two weeks and Ish a bit longer than that - but they are not long-term injuries," he told the club's official website. Cech has admitted it is a blow to be hit with an injury at such a crucial stage of the campaign. "It makes me sad because I have been enjoying my football in recent games," Cech told SITA. "I think the injury has been caused by a number of factors - the amount of fixtures, cold weather in England and so forth - but I hope to be back as soon as possible."
