Sheffield Wednesday boss Alan Irvine has won the Championship Manager of the Month award for January.
The former Preston boss, who was sacked by the Deepdale club in December, only took charge at Hillsborough at the beginning of the year but has won four of his first five games.
The wins, which began with creditable results away to Barnsley and Blackpool respectively, have helped the Owls pull five points clear of the relegation zone.
Home wins over Peterborough and Plymouth followed, furthering his case for man of the moment, beating Cardiff's Dave Jones and Nottingham Forests' Billy Davies to the award.
Meanwhile, Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has been awarded the league's Player of the Month, with four of his 11 Championship goals this season coming in January.
