Town boss keeping a watching brief on full-back's situation

Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane says there is no imminent move planned for Lee Naylor, but is not ruling out a bid for the Celtic full-back. Skysports.com revealed that Keane was considering a bid for Naylor as he looks to improve the left side of his defence. Naylor has recently returned to the Celtic team following an injury to Dan Fox, only to suffer an injury himself which ruled him out of Sunday's 4-1 win at St Johnstone. Keane does not expect to be able to bring in the 29-year-old now, but acknowledged the situation may change before the transfer window closes. "No, there's nothing in it, not at the moment," Keane told the East Anglian Daily Times. "He's in the Celtic team at the moment anyway, and I'm always watching Celtic games. "But that's today. Next week may be different." Naylor joined Celtic from Wolves in 2006, but he has made just four appearances in the SPL this season with Tony Mowbray preferring Fox at left-back.
