Blackpool have failed in a bid to sign midfielder Nicky Law from League Two promotion hopefuls Rotherham United.
Law has impressed since joining the Millers from Sheffield United last summer, scoring twice in 26 appearances in all competitions.
He was wanted back in the Championship by Blackpool, but a £150,000 offer has been turned down by Rotherham.
Millers chairman Tony Stewart wants to keep hold of the 21-year-old and the other key members of Ronnie Moore's squad.
Stewart said: "He's not for sale at any price as we're focused on promotion - that goes for the rest of the squad."
