Sousa looking to bring in a centre-forward in January

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says manager Paulo Sousa has yet to make a decision on the long-term future of Lee Trundle. The 33-year-old is on loan at Swansea from Bristol City until the New Year and has scored five goals in nine appearances for the club. Though he has started only one of those games, Trundle has expressed his wish to stay with Swansea on a permanent basis. However, Jenkins has revealed that Sousa has yet to make up his mind about whether Trundle will stay at the Liberty Stadium in the long term. "There's no definite yes or no yet with Lee," Jenkins told the Evening Post. "Paulo will weigh up his options over the next week before making his decision." Sousa is expected to improve his attacking options in the January transfer window and is in the market for an imposing striker. Former Crystal Palace front man Shefki Kuqi, who is currently playing in Germany for Koblenz, has been linked with a move, but Jenkins did not confirm an interest in the Finn. He added: "Paulo is looking for a big, strong centre-forward, there's no secret there."
