Wycombe Wanderers have brought Bristol City striker John Akinde back to the club on a month's loan

Waddock happy with loan arrival

Wycombe Wanderers have brought Bristol City striker John Akinde back to the club on a month's loan Akinde helped Wycombe win promotion from League Two last season, scoring seven goals in 11 appearances. The 20-year-old has found himself well down the pecking order at Ashton Gate this term and Robins boss Gary Johnson is happy to loan him out. Akinde is expected to go straight into the Wycombe squad for Saturday's game at Huddersfield and Chairboys boss Gary Waddock believes he will prove to be a key addition to the squad. "If he can recapture the form that he enjoyed in his first spell at the club then everyone will be delighted," Waddock told the club's official website. "He brings something different to the group and I'm looking forward to working with him."
