Bradford striker Michael Boulding is in contention for a first-team return for Saturday's game at Macclesfield.

Daley also returns to training with first-team squad

Bradford City striker Michael Boulding is in contention for a first-team return for Saturday's League Two fixture at Macclesfield Town. The 33-year-old has missed the last two matches after contracting the same illness that Chris Brandon recently struggled with. Boulding hopes to pick up where he left off for the Bantams after scoring in each of his previous three matches before being laid low. Bantams boss Stuart McCall told the Telegraph & Argus: "It's been unfortunate for Michael because he thought the virus had gone away. But you could see when he played the third game in a week that the effects were maybe still there. "Boulders needs to get it out of his system completely, but he's feeling a lot, lot better and he will be all right for the weekend." McCall has been given a further boost following Omar Daley's return to training with the first-team squad. The Jamaica international has been out for eight months after sustaining cruciate knee ligament damage in a goalless draw with Darlington last season that required surgery. But McCall has confirmed Daley will be protected from full-blooded challenges for several weeks.
