Ipswich defender Gareth McAuley is facing a fortnight out of action after sustaining a thigh injury.

The Northern Ireland international was replaced during the 1-1 draw at Plymouth on Saturday and is likely to miss a couple of games for the Tractor Boys.

Manager Roy Keane said: "You are never sure with thigh injuries but it could be that Gareth will be missing for a couple of weeks.

"It's frustrating but we have to deal with it and Alex Bruce came in and did well and he can do that."

Ipswich remain the only side in England yet to win a match this season and remain at the foot of the Championship table with just eight points from their opening 14 outings.
