Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Leicester City midfielder Aman Verma on a three-month loan deal.
Verma has secured a move to the League Two club after impressing Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson on trial over the past week.
He could make his debut for the Railwaymen on Tuesday after being granted permission to play in the Carling Cup first round tie against Blackpool.
The 22-year-old joined the Foxes in December last year from Redditch United, but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is keen for the youngster to gain experience and has sanctioned the loan move to Crewe.
He watched Crewe's 4-1 friendly win over Birmingham City last Tuesday, but did not finalise his loan in time to play in the opening game defeat by Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
