Charnock could join him at Plainmoor

Peterborough have allowed Scott Rendell to join Torquay on loan, and Kieran Charnock could be set to join him. Striker Rendell has agreed a season-long deal with the Gulls, who are preparing for life back in the Football League this season. Meanwhile, a fee has also been agreed for centre-half Charnock to make a move to Plainmoor. Posh director of football Barry Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "We have accepted a bid from Torquay for Charnock plus plenty of add-ons should he be a success down there. "Torquay have offered him a two-year contract, but he has yet to agree to the move. "Scott did originally turn Torquay down. He's not keen on a permanent move there, but he has agreed to join on a year-long loan, for which we have received a fee."
