Championship outfit Coventry City have completed the signing of Sammy Clingan from Norwich City.
The 25-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract after the Sky Blues saw an undisclosed bid accepted by the Canaries.
Skysports.com reported earlier on Friday how the Northern Ireland was in Coventry for a medical, and having passed those examinations the finishing touches have now been put to the deal.
Clingan only joined Norwich last summer and made 43 appearances for the club during the 2008/09 campaign.
He was a standout performer during the Canaries' unsuccessful efforts to avoid relegation into League One and had drawn attention from a host of clubs this summer.
The combative midfielder, who has also turned out for Wolves and Nottingham Forest, is now looking forward to taking on a new challenge at the Ricoh Arena.
