New Swansea signing Jordi Lopez hopes he will rediscover his best form under the management of Paulo Sousa.
The 28-year-old midfielder has agreed a two-year deal at the Liberty Stadium to become Sousa's first capture since taking over the Swans.
Former Real Madrid and Sevilla player Lopez worked under Sousa at QPR at the end of last season and he is now looking forward to his reunion.
"I will take things step by step and hopefully help Swansea do well," he told the club's official website.
"Paulo played a big part in my decision to accept Swansea's offer and sign the deal.
"After a difficult year for me, the way he treats his players will help me get back to my best.
"I want to get back to the level I reached in Spain and I hope the Swansea fans get to see me at my best."
