Derby County have confirmed Kris Commons has been attracting interest, but say no bids have been received for the midfielder.
Commons has been linked with a £3.5million move to Celtic after an impressive debut season at Pride Park.
Premier League clubs have also been mooted as admirers of the Scotland international, who scored seven goals in 45 appearances following his arrival on a free transfer from local rivals Nottingham Forest.
Rams boss Nigel Clough has previously admitted he expects to receive interest in the 25-year-old and accepts every player has his price.
However, the Championship club have responded to rumours of a bid from Celtic by insisting no offers have yet been made for Commons.
A club spokesman said: "There has been no formal bid, but we are aware of interest from a number of clubs."
