Skysports.com understands West Brom are interested in Coventry full-back Daniel Fox.
The 22-year-old has proven to be an inspired piece of business for the Sky Blues since joining the Championship club from Walsall in January 2008.
Fox quickly acclimatised to a step-up in class and has in the past been linked with a move to the Premier League.
West Brom were thought to be monitoring his performances prior to last season's relegation and have now rekindled their interest as they contemplate losing Paul Robinson.
The veteran left-back looks to be heading for the Hawthorns exit door, as Bolton continue negotiations with West Brom to strike a deal for the wantaway defender.
Should Robinson indeed leave the Midlands for Bolton then new Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo could step-up his interest.
