Neil Warnock has revealed that Crystal Palace are mulling over a move for Norwich goalkeeper Stuart Nelson.
Darryl Flahavan is set to leave Selhurst Park in search of more regular football after having few opportunities to impress last season.
He admitted last month that he would be interested in a permanent switch to Leeds after spending time on loan at Elland Road.
Warnock would then need to bring in a replacement for Flahavan and Palace's goalkeeping coach Jim Stannard has recommended Nelson.
"Darryl would like to play first-team football this year so Jim Stannard is looking at other alternatives and I believe Stuart is one of them," Warnock told Your Local Guardian.
Striker Alan Lee has also been linked with a summer move away from Palace, with Norwich interested in snapping him up.
However, Warnock has now announced that the proposed transfer is unlikely to go ahead.
"It's not close as far as I'm aware," he explained.
"I know he has spoken to them in the past but I don't think there is anything going on there."
