West Brom are interested in signing Chateauroux ace Kevin Constant, skysports.com understands.
New Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is an admirer of Constant and is thought to be keen on luring him to the Hawthorns.
The player's agent Aurelien Franckel has confirmed the 22-year-old is keen on securing a move to England and is interested in joining West Brom.
"Yes, West Brom are interested in Kevin, but currently there is no offer for him," Franckel told skysports.com.
"He still has one-year left on his contract and Chateauroux want to offer him a new deal.
"Teams from Italy, France and Turkey are keen on Kevin, but it is Kevin's desire to play in England.
"Roberto Di Matteo is very keen on Kevin as he is a skilful midfielder and he wants him at West Brom."
