Cardiff City look set to seal a deal for Motherwell defender Paul Quinn after agreeing a fee with their Scottish counterparts.
Quinn is highly regarded at Fir Park having progressed through the youth ranks to captain the side and caught the eye last season with a series of impressive displays.
Skysports.com broke news of Cardiff's interest in the 23-year-old and now Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale has confirmed a deal could be tied up in the next 24 hours.
It is thought Cardiff will pay Motherwell around £300,000 once personal terms have been agreed and a medical passed.
"The situation is we have agreed a fee with Motherwell and we expect the lad down to discuss personal terms in the next 24 hours," Ridsdale told the Daily Record.
