Cardiff City striker Warren Feeney is excited about the possibility of signing for Leeds United.
Leeds have been granted permission to speak with the Northern Ireland international, who started out as a trainee at Elland Road in 1998.
Feeney stressed that a completed deal is still some way off but could not hide his enthusiasm when quizzed about a potential transfer.
The 28-year-old told the Belfast Telegraph: "I'm just going for talks and there is still plenty of things to discuss. A medical hasn't even been suggested.
"Cardiff have given permission for another club to sign me so we'll see what happens.
"Leeds are still a massive club and I'm excited."
