Forest defender joins League Two side on six-month loan

Nottingham Forest defender Joe Heath has agreed to join Lincoln on a six-month loan deal. The 20-year-old only made his Forest debut back in August in the 4-0 League Cup win over Morecambe but has since gone on to establish himself in the first-team squad. The former Manchester United trainee made 12 appearances overall last term, 10 of them starts, and he is eager to continue learning his trade out on loan. Imps manager Peter Jackson was delighted that he had been able to persuade the highly-rated full-back into coming to Sincil Bank. "Joe is a young keen and enthusiastic player and I am delighted that I have been able to bring him to the club," he said. "He had experience at Championship level last season and played in some big games for Forest so he certainly has something about him and he is a highly-rated full-back."
