Barnsley forward Jon Macken has penned a new deal at Oakwell.
The former Manchester City and Preston man has agreed a one-year contract to keep him at Barnsley.
Macken was delighted to resolve his future and is looking forward to next season.
"I'm very pleased as I always wanted to stay at Barnsley," Macken told the club's official website.
"I told the manager that at the end of the season and all my family knew that I wanted to stay here so it's great to get it all signed.
"It was an easy decision really. I've fully enjoyed my time here.
"I enjoyed playing last season even though it didn't work out how we all wanted and we only avoided relegation on the last day of the season.
"I enjoyed every game I played and I'm looking forward to next season."
