Swansea have completed the signing of Stephen Dobbie on a free transfer from Queen of the South.
The striker has joined on a three-year deal after attracting Swansea's attention with a string of impressive performances in Scotland.
The 26-year-old, who started his career with Rangers, has been in prolific goalscoring form over the past two seasons.
Manager Roberto Martinez is delighted to have secured his services but has vowed to keep strengthening his squad ahead of the 2009/10 Championship campaign.
"He has reinvented himself in the last two seasons at Queen of the South and is at the best age of his career," Martinez told the club's official website.
"He is a typical Swansea City player - very gifted and strong technically. He's also a natural goalscorer; has high standards and is hungry to show off his talents in the Championship by helping Swansea City win football games.
"He's our first new signing of the new campaign and will add extra competition to a forward line that is already exciting for next season.
"But we can't stop here; we will continue to strengthen the squad in different areas ready for the new season."
