Queens Park Rangers are in discussions with Jordi Lopez about extending the Spaniard's stay at Loftus Road.
The 28-year-old made ten appearances last season after moving to the capital initially on a three-month deal.
Lopez was brought to the Championship outfit by then manager Paulo Sousa and while the Portuguese has yet to be replaced, the club are keen to tie Lopez down to fresh terms.
QPR are expected to recruit heavily in the summer as they bid to mount a challenge for the Premier League next term and one man who could figure in any promotion push is Lopez.
His agent, Alex Bonnot, said: "QPR offered a contract and Jordi is considering his options. There are discussions ongoing."
