Ryan admits he would consider offers for duo

Doncaster chairman John Ryan has rejected talk that Birmingham have made bids for Brian Stock and Matthew Mills. Reports have suggested that Premier League new boys Birmingham were lining up a £8million bid to lure Stock and Mills away from the Keepmoat Stadium. Ryan admits there has been no contact with Birmingham, but that he would be happy to accept such a big offer if it did come along. "I've heard that Birmingham are set to make an £8million bid for Matt Mills and Brian Stock but there's no truth in it as far as I am concerned," Ryan told the Sheffield Star. "If Birmingham offered that amount of money for the two of them, we'd snatch their hands off. But as far as I am concerned, there is no such offer in the pipeline. "I wouldn't be surprised if Alex McLeish did fancy Brian. Brian is a very good player and I wouldn't like to replace him."
