Derby and Nottingham Forest are battling it out for Blackpool's Shaun Barker, skyports.com understands.
Barker has impressed at Blackpool since his arrival from Rotherham in the summer of 2006 and established himself as a key member of the squad.
The 26-year-old's consistent performances have not gone unnoticed and Championship rivals Derby and Forest are hoping to lure him away from Bloomfield Road.
Leeds are also believed to be tracking Barker with Whites boss Simon Grayson a big fan of the player having worked with him during his time in charge of Blackpool.
Barker has one year left on his current contract and Blackpool could find it hard to reject a substantial offer for the full-back.
