Brett Ormerod has expressed his desire to remain with Blackpool for another season.
The 32-year-old striker rejoined the Seasiders in the January transfer window on a short-term deal until the end of the campaign.
He has produced a series of fine performances to help the club stay in the Championship and now hopes to be rewarded with a new deal.
"I'm 32 but I feel I can still do a good job at this level," he commented.
"I'm probably not as prolific but I think I've grown up a lot as a player."
Ormerod spent four years at Bloomfield Road earlier in his career before going on to play for Southampton and Preston.
