Hornets chief feels Sumulikoski is an 'intelligent player'

Watford boss Brendan Rodgers admits he may renew his interest in Ipswich Town midfielder Velice Sumulikoski in the summer. Sumulikoski was wanted by Rodgers on loan earlier this season, but a proposed swap deal failed to materialise. The Macedonian had endured a spell out of the Town team before reclaiming his place in the final weeks of Jim Magilton's reign. With Roy Keane now in charge at Portman Road, Sumulikoski could have a role to play in Ipswich's plans for next season. Rodgers is maintaining a watching brief on the player's situation with Town as he weighs up another attempt to take the 27-year-old to Vicarage Road. "Sumulikoski is an intelligent player and could come back into my thoughts," said Rodgers in the Daily Express. "Ipswich were interested in a double swap and you will have to ask them who our player was, but it appears all over for the time being."
