Alan Lee has made it clear he would welcome the opportunity to sign a full-time contract with Norwich.
Lee joined the Canaries on loan from Crystal Palace last month and he is due to remain at Carrow Road until the end of the season.
The striker has made two appearances so far and is pleased with the way he has adjusted to his new surroundings.
While insisting he may still sign if Norwich are relegated, he notes that the club could reconsider any potential deal should those circumstances occur.
He told News First: "Yes I'd like to (sign a permanent deal), I've told the manager that.
"It's something that I'd really like to do. I'm very happy with how I've settled in. I think it's a great club, I love the lads and that would be nice for me.
"I love living in East Anglia, it's been just a breath of fresh air me coming back home, so it would be great for me."
