Norwich striker Carl Cort is to undergo surgery on his injured foot.
Cort has been on the sidelines since suffering the injury against Blackpool on March 7th.
Norwich have decided to send the 31-year-old under the knife in a bid to solve the injury.
"Carl is visiting a specialist in London tomorrow to remove a bursar from his foot," Canaries boss Bryan Gunn told the club's official website.
"It's an injury more commonly found in athletics and other sports rather than football - it's not a break but it is painful and it requires an operation.
"Once he returns from his operation we'll be in a position to assess how long Carl will be out of action."
